Jennie Vaughan

Organist & Choir Director

Jennie Vaughan came to Holy Cross in 2003 to serve as organist. In 2011 she also became Choir Director. She oversees the care of our treasured Aeolian-Skinner instrument. She has served as church organist for 18 years at Holy Cross after 19 years at First Baptist Church, Paris. Her organ training began in the eighth grade at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas and continued in graduate school and in Paris with James Thompson, long-time organist/choir director at Holy Cross. She was a music instructor at Paris Junior College for 41 years. Jennie is married to Ben Vaughan whose help and support are invaluable.
